Model Climax engine
« on: April 29, 2022, 12:41:05 AM »
Some time ago, I seen a model of a Climax engine. I no longer recall where. Or what it was. I think Coles sold a steam train engine casting kit, but this was an inline gas engine I am thinking of.
But now I do not even know if it was a Coventry engine of the car engine type, or if it was a model of the Climax made here in the United States, here in the state of Iowa. They made one that I think became Waukesha.
Does any one know if this Waukesha style Climax inline engine was made as a casting kit? Thanks for looking.

I'm not sure if this helps but, I have a book titled "Coventry Climax Engine the story of the development of Coventry climax engines" www.cppress.co.uk. lots of info and cutaway drawings. I know nothing of castings.

Thank you, the engine I am thinking of is an inline made in Clinton Iowa USA. What your talking about I think was an
English car engine.
I think there was a Climax listed in the Coles catalog, but not sure which one.
