New member - clockmaker who likes engines

John MacArthur here.  I've been lurking for a while, having seen references to the site at Home Shop Machinist, where I have followed several builds.  My specialty is making high grade clocks from scratch, which involves a lot of micromachining.  I like any making of small mechanical things.    My last build log:  https://mb.nawcc.org/threads/5-regulator-progress.152773/

And what is a clock but a spring or weight-driven motor, right?

Beautiful work on the clocks! Welcome to the forum!  While I mainly do steam engines, also have dabbled in the clock making world, enough to know the skills needed there.
