After a dozen years in the shop, my Novakon NM200 bed mill is going to a new home. A buddy of mine who fabricates parts for offroad vehicles needed made an offer a while back. I haven't been doing anything in the shop for a while in sort of a Covid induced languor, and I had earlier decided I wanted a new mill with a tool changer. The current economic situation has me thinking of waiting for better times before investing in a new expensive mill, and as well I have several travel plans set for the rest of the year. I'm leaving today for a 3-week trip to Europe via cruise ship, so maybe in mid-may my head will be back on track for some modeling.
This gives me a chance to clean up and organize the shop better, and as well I have some incomplete projects to revisit. The Greene engine is finished other than getting the valve timing straightened out and finding a better pulley belt for the governor.
