Hauser 12" Rotary Table
« on: February 12, 2022, 06:27:51 PM »
I have just obtained a nice Hauser 12" Rotary table.  I am in process of giving it a coat of paint but need to top up the oil reservoir.  Does anyone have the manual for this table and could they tell me the spec of oil to use.

Thanks,
Colin

Dave.
Thanks for that suggestion but no joy.  It says woodworking equipment only?? and does not have Hauser amongst the manufacturer entries.

Nope   No Hauser, but definitely metal working.

I don't, but congrats; imo there is not a finer manufacture of machine tools and tooling than Hauser

Its looking good now its cleaned and painted.  Bought P&B 3 jaw chuck and made a backplate to fit it to the RT.  Just need a job for it now.  BUT a lathe change is going to get in the way.  My Colchester Student (1 phase) is about to morph into a Colchester Triumph 2000 (3 phase).  One car, 4 cabinets, two lathes to move and temporarily relocate in workshop.  Going to test the lathe tomorrow.
