Elmers Pumping Engine

(1/5) > >>

Saxalby:
Having a frustrating time getting the cam shafts on my Atkinson lorry working properly. I have been taking time off from that problem to build a few of the Elmers engines.
So far I have built the Radial engine, a small Mill engine and the Elmers No42, albeit a twin version. Have now started on the Elmers pumping engine.

Saxalby:
So far have made the base, the two platforms and the bearing supports and the four columns.

RReid:
A great looking set of engines! I found the three Elmer's engines that I built to be fun and rewarding. You've done super nice work on yours, I'll be looking forward to seeing more progress on the pumping engine.

Great jobs! I love your interpretations and the presentations.

Your interpretation of the mill engine is inspired. Seems like everyone builds that engine, but I never did like the look of the block cylinder design. I would try something more like what you've made.

I really love your twin oscillator! My first build from plans was the #42.
