Merry Christmas Andy.

I’m flattered, but the photo represents your efforts. A selection of great model engineering expertise and attention to detail.

Kind regards, Graham.

Graham. I just hope you have got a big chimney so Santa can fit those Brayton castings down it.

Luckily lengths of barstock drop straight down mine ;)

I think the Brayton castings will be a little late for Father Christmas this year Jason but I received an early Christmas delivery yesterday.

I thought your friend already had an X-type or are some of those "top secret" castings that Graham mentioned elsewhere last week destined for you?

Despite a slight mixup in communication Jo there’s 5 sets available for Christmas tree ballast, 4 flywheels to come in the new year.  ;)

I'm afraid I'm totally not up to speed with the situation - is Alyn Foundry a functioning business again, or is this just a few casting sets being made for a few people? I understood that Alyn Foundry had stopped trading. Apologies if I have that completely wrong, I've only observed in a casual manner, just wondered what the situation is. All this talk of more castings coming is just very interesting.
Stuart

Forging ahead regardless.

Hi Stuart.

This has been my passion for 30+ years, whilst we effectively ceased trading in 2007/8 I’ve been pottering off and on ever since.

A new and definitely adept foundry has been found so I’ve been busy getting some decent replacement parts for the workshop.

I think the Brayton Ready-Motor might be the last in my series of “ pioneer “ engines but the pottering will definitely continue.

Cheers Graham.

Best wishes, for a fast and good recovery - though I'm aware that these things take time and fustration sometimes are hard to avoid.
