1/8” BSP Pipe fittings.
« on: November 19, 2021, 11:33:24 AM »
Back to the Brayton Ready-Motor.

Is there anyone in the UK making/supplying 1/8” Brass BSP fittings? I’m looking for “ period “ style Globe valve and Female couplings for the air supply pipe work, possibly elbows and Tee’s if they look right. ( see picture )

The Brayton is akin to the steam engines of the mid period 1800’s and I’d like my model to look right. Obviously checked eBay but as MEM is more steam oriented perhaps members may know of more obscure/bespoke suppliers?

Cheers Graham.

EKP do the elbows and tees in brass that look like maluable iron or you can find them cheaper on the net.

I think most valves will be nut and nipple type connection. If you could go metric fine or NPT then they are out there.

These were the NPT ones I was thinking about

And the Metric but they look to only go upto M8 x 0.75 and you would really want M10 x 1 to be about the same size as 1/8BSP
