Thanks Dave, You have confirmed what I suspected the pivots for the shaft are a "tight"  ::) fit on the table and I will need to modify them

Jo,   there is very little clearance between the shaft and the valve chest / studs.   Mine does not even have the correct valve chest cover, which is probably thinner than yours.           Terry
