The pictures fooled me. It just didn't look very aluminumy, probably the because the finish is so fine. :ThumbsUp:

Update.
Made the rear distribution housing.
I'll be using o-rings to seal the air tubes to this housing.

Here is a progress update.
Five good cylinders. (all within .0005 of .500)
I used 12L14 material, and will probably use 6061 for the pistons.

I think next part to make will be the crank, and then move on to the master and slave rods.

Yes, 12L14 cuts like butter.
Should hold up well enough in this application.

Here's my next instalment, the crank.
One piece, 303 stainless.
I made the aluminum crank offset fixture to turn the crank throw, after milling away most of the unwanted material.
