MY TAKE ON RUDY'S RADIAL
sid pileski:
After seeing some of the recent builds on Rudy's radial, I was inspired to make one myself.
However, I wanted it to look a little more like the real thing. So I modeled it up and started adding the details to make it
look more prototypical.
Time it start making chips!

Thanks Chris.
Yeah, his design was a little too plain. I think this will wake it up.
I don't know when I will actually start on it. Maybe a piece here and there.
I've got too many paying projects in line right now.
I've build the ubiquitous five cylinder wobbler radial too.
I see these as a build up to a "real" five or nine cylinder radial. Definitely on my bucket list in retirement.

RReid:
Your design looks really good, Sid. The exhaust stubs are a great touch, I wish I'd thought of that!
If I had planned the touches I added to mine from the start, I too would have put the pushrod tubes at the front. Mine are a little bit hidden at the back, but it was the easier way to incorporate what was more or less an afterthought.

I also added a bunch more fasteners. Again to make it look more proto.
Going to have to be patient doing all those 2-56's!
