I have an older set of these, was never very impressed with them, very soft metal. It now says the tips are chrome vanadium, maybe they have improved them?

Chris, the Moody tools are good steel and hardened these days. I have broken one or two that I have ground down to fit small places. I buy the replacement blades only as a handle is usually not needed and they are much cheaper that way, so I do not feel bad about grinding and breaking a wrench.

got frustrated about small wrenches, so I made this pair, milled and filed, given a quick heat treat.. promised my self to make a set, not there yet..

Sounds great, thanks! The ones I have are probably a few decades old.
