These guys have them - dont let the name fool you, they ship from Lyons NY.

Also, quite a few of the sources in England will ship here too.

Thanks Chris, I actually was looking at that website to figure out what screws I had in my hand, but thought it was in Britain.

They are only one county away from me - wish they had a store, looks like a fun place to browse!

Thanks for posting the link Chris - great to know about for BA fasteners, but was delighted to see they are a great resource for my upcoming British motorcycle restoration project.

I don't think we ever used BA over here, though maybe in very early years? Mostly UNC/UNF. More recently metric sizes, but not as much as in other parts of the world.

I shall certainly provide those!

Got a ways to go though. I did recently acquire a new crankshaft for it - after a 9 year wait.

Nice crank.
I recognize it as an AMC 650 twin, non- alternator. A friend has just mashed up a bigend on his 500 AJS twin. I will try to foward him the picture.

That's what it is alright. I have a 1960 G12DL. This is one of the newly manufactured crankshafts that the owners club had made - it was a looooooooooong drawn out affair, with a history of bad suppliers by the sounds of it. But kudos to the club management - they stuck with it and we got our crankshafts. Now I am ditching all my other motorcycle projects, so that I can focus on this one. Even then I don't expect to start in earnest until next year, while I get things out of the way.

And also finish my PMR #1 engine, which has been a long affair all on its own.
