May I ask what is the weight and radius of the flywheel? It runs also very table on low rpms. cheers

I did not weigh it but the CAD tells me it should be 787grams

Rim is 100mm outside diameter, 25mm wide and 9.25mm thick

Just thought I would post this link to a new supplier of castings that have an engine that no doubt has it's origins in the Thompson design. They do it as both a 4-stroke and flame licker. There was  fair size article about building in in MiM recently.

They also have quite a nice looking set of castings for a pump jack but not on their website yet.
