I've recently started on the above project after downloading an excellent set of drawings. I have hit an issue which I am assuming is because I'm a bit dim. I've been trying to work out the dimensions of the cylinder block. I cannot see how the length is worked out using different dimensions from other parts of the work to be machined on it.
As I said it might be me being dim and it's staring me in the face but I can't see it, I can guess it but that's all it is.
Can someone shed some light on this little problem pls

True, apologies.

You just posted the one page, which does not show the cylinder block dimensions at all. Can you post the sheet(s) that shows the block itself?

I did look at all the drawings just before I switched off last night and can't see the dimension though it is quite possibly 100mm. I could not see a way to work it out from the assembly as the eccentrics do not butt up against the outer bearings.

Julius is a member here so send him a personal message and I'm sure he will get back to you and update the drawing for others.

Hmmm. I have all of Julius's drawings and went back over them and yes, it seems that those dimensions are missing. It would "almost" seem that 100mm is the missing dimension, however, that is not a given. Perhaps a PM to Julius, who is a member here is in order. I usually go over his renderings when he sends them to me to find errors. Obviously, I was asleep at the wheel on this one.  :hammerbash:

Julius responded by updating the drawings and sending me a copy. They are the usual high quality and excellent standard.
Many thanks Julius.

Glad you got things in order Swallowtail. Please, could you perhaps post up that updated drawing page, as I would like to replace the one I have in my files. Or send it to me via email. Thanks.

Page 12 is too big to download. The pdf is 1118kb so anyone wanting it can contact me and I'll email it. Basically it is a coloured isometric, I don't see it as critical in completing the work. Just completes the set of 12 drawings.
