Fabulous Dave,
You have built a little gem there.

Well done.  :NotWorthy: :NotWorthy: :NotWorthy:

Thanks guys.....this has been a good practice build to work on my CAM skills.    Besides being a great functional tool.

Looks amazing + a great name (those who look at it without knowing that it's your name, will think 'known' Brand).

Are you doing anything to the surface (paint / Nickel Plating etc.) ?

And shy some appropriate hardware to bolt it to the bench.  Its done.   Outstandingly smooth and rigid and gentle on small parts

Hey a follow up....

I've been using this vise now for just about 3 years.   It's a nice little vise for small work.   One problem though

It bolts to the front of the bench which means its always in the way  and it takes up valuable space when it's not needed.

Then another youtube superhero of mine   Steffan  Pahlow.  He mounted his to a fairly large lump of brass round stock......genius!

at 5 pounds, this vise is not going anywhere for normal uses.

I ordered up a 4" round off the bay and drew up my version of this and built it today.   It works great and I can just park the vise at the back of the bench when not in use.

Very neat idea!  And that chunk of brass only adds to the beauty of that little vise!
