Introducing myself
« on: February 04, 2021, 07:38:35 PM »
Hi my name is Mike Schauber I'm 71 and from NC pa.. I'm just starting in model steam. In the past I have restored many small antique motors and
antique Evinrude outboards ,and 3 months ago I met an 86 year old man who showed my his 3 steam engines now I'm hooked.
Will be asking many questions.
Mike

Mike,
Glad to see that you've joined. I don't think there is a question you could ask that someone doesn't have an answer for, even multiple choice answers. I saw your beam engine posted and it is a very nice looking engine. I haven't looked up to see what it looked like before modification, homework I guess. On a side note I'm not from PA but my wife is. So I am familiar with SE PA around where the Cabin Fever show, or Kinzer Rough & Tumble is.
