Hi guys, thanks for allowing me on this forum. I'm from South Africa and was introduced to this forum by the very helpful Marvin Klotz. I'm a self taught model engineer with a variety of interest. I like to build models from Elmer Verburg. Have done a model or two from Stuart castings. Fiddle every now and then making parts for motorcycles. I have a Myford Super 7 that i refurbished, lovely lathe. Then i have a Sherline lathe and milling machine, also excellent desktop machines. I was battling with the famous Elmer Verburg flywheels with the tapered spokes. Fortunately Marvin came to my rescue with his excellent calcs that run in Dos. I had to brush up on my Dos skills again. Have tried my hand at a hot air engine as well with success. I'm now at the stage where i would like to progress to a simple internal combustion engine. I have indeed started with Bob Shore's "Little Angel". Perhaps not the easiest internal combustion to start with givin the size. Then i like to play with the occasional boat project as well. Look forward to learn from this forum. Pardon my English, it is not my first language.
