REFURBISHED DRILL PRESS
« on: January 17, 2021, 12:25:43 AM »
I bought this drill press with vise and a metal cutting bandsaw for $60. Pictures of before and after. In the process the cover broke and had to be patched and the base flange broke and had to be Tig welded. Made a face plate for a new switch and added an Led light. I change to original motor from 1/2 HP to 3/4 one that I had on hand. The bandsaw is a metal cutting saw and I will refurbish it to sell later since iI have one already. The white table on the press is for wood working and is quickly removed.

Regards Don

Nice result Don . Looks like that was a well worth exercise. (A bit different from your usual brass eh?)

Hi Ramon,  yes it is and thanks for commenting my friend. I been refurbishing a few things lately. It’s been quiet enjoyable doing them and the cost was right...Lol.  :naughty:
