Thanks Jon, that's a nice bit on the Snow engine towards the end. Also Chuck Fellows would be interested in one of those models that uses the gearless system he is using on his current build.  Thanks for sharing the video.

Thanks, Jon.
I had no idea that was 4 hours from here. Definite road trip.
Especially after I read this.

Only 4 hours away and you have never been there! :wallbang:

Coolspring is one of the best engine museums in the world; some of the most historically significant engines in the country live there; and as you can see by the video they all run. Next year is the 10 year anniversary of the flame ignition expo, probably too late to secure a motel room but if you can make it you won't be dissapointed.

I was at the show 10 years ago and it was amazing. The museum has finished at least 3 major exhibits since then. The Snow, the Large Otto and the Miller,; all wonderful engines. When I was last there the Snow was scattered around the grounds and buildings; now it is assembled and running!

You guys need to GO!!

Dave

You are so right Dave.
I'm going to leave for NAMES a day earlier than I had planned since Coolspring is on the way (close enough to "on the way")
Best,
Stan
