Great job on the engine. She's rather large compared to the stuff I do. Looks and runs great. Congratulations!

Hi Perry, great job. Thanks for sharing all these pictures and showing the road you have gone. Good to know that also at this type of engines the counterweight calculation has to be done accurate.
(PS: nice E-type)
Kind Regards

hi Allen, while the pistons are traveling up and down together, valve timing makes them breath 360degrees of crank revolution apart
which means if 1st cylinder is in compression, the other is in exhaust cycle already. common for motorcycle paralel twin engines.

So no primary balance plus a fore-aft f/2 rocking couple? I suppose it could be sold to ladies via those shops with the blacked-out windows!  :stir:

Just an aside - is that an OS 61-sized carb (a 7D or similar) you're using there?

thanks for nice comments  :)

forgot to mention :  Bore 25mm, Stroke 30mm

Carburetor is from some nitro rc airplane engine- not sure about the size..
once most of the bugs will be tuned out my plan is to make carburetor with more tuning possibilities such as Jerry Howel's carburetor or simmilar.

Perry-

Well done.  It runs well.  It has to be such a fantastic feeling when your own scratch built I.C. engine runs well.
