A group met together today to share a common love of steam powered boats.
Lots of chat, coffee and tea and plans made for future get togethers and sail ins.

Very cool! Having run the 12" to the foot scale, I can understand!

Steamup...great pictures to be sure...but any chance you can reduce the size to 800 x 600. The problem is that many members with slow connections can't view them due to the horrendous download times, and once downloaded even for those of us with faster connections, you have to scroll to view the whole picture. More folks could enjoy them with this change in size.
Thanks,
Bill

Cool !! I see you're using Graham Industries' TVR1. Did you recognize the name .... GailInNM is the Graham part of that name. If I remember correctly, he's one of the designers of that engine and manufacturered it early on before handing the reigns over to his son :) I'm putting a TVR1 together as we speak ! Been sitting for the last 6 mos or so partially assembled. Finally got some incentive from another thread here to get going again. Hoping to have it finished by the next time I go visit Gail in Albuquerque !
Have you guys check out the PaddleDucks web site ? Lots of scale steam boats over there :D

My second build was a TVR1. Nice little engine. And for the price, very nice.
