Title: Cheap Sine Vice
Post by: Bogstandard on August 29, 2012, 05:44:31 PM
Stew and Dek called around this afternoon for a natter, and as they had just sat down, this was delivered.

It was agreed by all that it was a very nice quality and the price was definitely right.

Just one note, it is designed to be used with a magnetic chuck, but I will be making a clamp bar so that it can easily be used on my mill.

This is where it came from if anyone is interested in maybe getting one for themselves. Not many left though, because at about 1/3rd of the normal price, they will go fast.

I have one similar John that I had bought from LMS. It has provision for clamping on the front and aft. It is slotted, so these could probably be slot for clamping also.
