[1] Hmmm....
Five lumps, 53mm x 145mm, 6082 ally.
Far, far too posh for the lowly likes of myself I fear :)
I am a dismal creature, completely lacking in imagination ....
What to do with them .. :headscratch:
[2] Hmmmmmmmmmmm .... again ....

I wonder
Surus reckons he can find a use for them :pinkelephant:

I doubt it, that is extruded all not cast :mischief:
-
Can't see them being much use if they're zero thickness. :D
I mostly use offcuts of 6082 for fixtures to help machine the more awkward parts of my engines.

Thanks Dave ;D
I tend to agree with him that they look to be idea for the cylinder sleeves for our BR2. So hopefully they will keep him occupied for a while ::)

Surus says thanks for dropping off the Ali Dave :pinkelephant:
He has been suggesting that I should go and try out my new sandblaster cabinet on them to make them look like real castings in his collection rather than just bits of bar stock :-\

Kindly convey my warmest felicitations to young Surus and tell him he is most welcome to the ally.
Give 'em a quick waft over. Get a bit of practice with the blaster ... :D
3 hrs. 18 mins. to get back. Still no record. Mind you, 19 miles of 50 limit don't help ..
Need more poke perchance ....
Now for the pies I took out of the freezer to defrost this morning in an unaccustomed episode of forward thinking ...
