Hello to all
I just joined after getting an old Clausing 8520 to the house. I'm not a model builder per se but I do mill flintlocks for rifles and lots of other parts for blackpowder things. I have a small shop behind the house where I work wood and some metal. I hope to find some other folks with one of these 8520 mills to get advice and maybe some parts along the way.

Not sure how to post photos yet but I promise to post a few once I get the hang of it.

Hi Dan, With your interest in single cylinder sacrificial piston engines, especially the black powder type, you might like to explore the 'Gunpowder' engines, otherwise known as Huygens or explosion engines. Welcome aboard. Regards Paul Gough.
