Hello, having recently joined this site I though you might like to see the project I completed in the summer. This is a model of a FODEN steam tractor of circa 1920. It has been built mainly using kits supplied by Steam Traction World. The engine is steam powered, coal fired operating at 150 psi. There are three speeds with chain drive to rear wheels with differential. Has pneumatic tyres for smoother ride. A very enjoyable vehicle quite capable of 10 to 15 mph on reasonably smooth surface. Used quite often at UK steam rallies and for the occasional trip around the local village being legal for road use. Hope you like it!!
Now back to the Hoglet started few weeks ago.

That is terrific! It has to be a fun way to wheel around the neighborhood - bet you get a lot of people walking into things, watching you rather than where they are going!

Yes, they describe it as the ultimate " boys toy" !!

Beautiful job Trevor; it does look like that it would be great fun driving it around.
