Title: Weeden model 14 repair
Post by: Doc on October 13, 2013, 09:34:09 PM
This is the first steam up of the 5th Weeden engine in my collection to get repaired and running again. I have 3 more in need of repair. This one was an easy rebuild new water level sight glass and a sight glass fitting boiler bands a new whistle and new pressure relief valve. Plus I soldered up a 4 flame burner for it.

I'm about to start up on my V8 engine build again I put ti away for the summer so this will be the last Weeden for this year to be rebuilt.

Nice job on that Doc! What do you run in the burner? Denatured alcohol?
