Title: Schaublin Collets (inch diameters only) beeing sold quite cheap by RcMachines
Post by: Florian Eberhard on December 16, 2014, 10:13:04 PM
Good Evening Lady(-ies?)/Gentlemen

Anyone here looking for some good quality ER-Collets? (Inch diameters only):

Rc-Machines recently has been selling ER-Collets (ER16, ER20, ER25, ER25, ER32, ER40) made by Schaublin:
https://www.rc-machines.com/en/search?desc=on&sdesc=on&keywords=ESX

If you go directly to the Rc-Machines Homepage, you just search for the key word "ESX" which is the schaublin sign for "ER"

The Prices are quite good, ususally, they cost in about twice as much or even more than what they are sold by Rc-Machines.

Regards
Florian
btw: They also sell Schaublin clamping nuts -> search for "Schaublin Nut"

For what it's worth Florian, I've had what was a very expensive set of ESX 25 collets sold by Emco for about 30 years and never knew what that ESX designation meant since they seem to be identical to ER 25 collets. Thanks to your old post, I now know Schaublin uses it for some reason.
