Title: New Holland
Post by: Jo on March 13, 2018, 04:37:40 PM
I have just been pointed at this set of castings on Fleabay  :o https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-HOLLAND-PAUL-BREISCH-HIT-MISS-4-FLYWHEEL-IGNITER-CASTING-KIT/222870402040?hash=item33e41c73f8:g:4xcAAOSwfvxanu5D

That must be a new record I thought they were about $200 new.

Looks like only two bidders are bidding on it and trying to beat each other up...a bit rich for my blood!!

As Bill says, it looks like there are only two bidders ratcheting up the price. I am not sure which one is the seller. :mischief:

JB you will be pleased to know I have been negotiating hard with him and he might consider a two for one deal. So he now wants to know what two sets of castings you might want to offer him for his set of New Holland castings.

Warning he has a rather trumped up idea of their value as his trunk is glued to fleabay  ::) and he knows you have a Big Brother  :-X

I don't want a New Holland, well at least not that little one.

Almost $1000 now I bet your supplier is kicking himself for letting you sweet talk him out of that set for the cost of a packet of Jaffas ;)

Still I'm a happy bunny with what I have just won, need to decide whether to build it as a flame ignition, air engine, two stroke, 4 stroke, loyal cycle etc. decisions, desisions :whoohoo:

Never mind Jo there may still be a box on the pallet with your name on it but probably not in your usual price range

Don't tell him  :hellno:  :-X

I saw that and showed remarkable self control and did not bid against you. How many spare casting sets is that now in your stash ::)

That will make it 4 but one of those I will more than likely move on as it does not really float my boat. don't worry there is little chance of me catching you up even with teh ones that are on order ;)

Maybe they think that the listing is for the completed one and a set of castings

Thought you would have had yours listed by now. :stickpoke:

May as well put the Littel Bro on there as well though may not get as much for that although there are people who want Breisch ones

Here is the guy who is selling these now.  Last time I checked with him he said once the sets he had were gone he was not going to do anymore.  Do not remember the price .   I am not sure but I think he has the Breisch patterns.
