Title: Vice stop & mic stand

Here's a simple vice stop I made, I included some fore and aft adjust-ability with different mounting holes for the bar to mount to the fixed shaft and a few extra holes for the threaded rod. The bar lying below is an extension for the fixed shaft. The mic stand is a quick and dirty unit made from 2 pieces of alum angle. The bottom angle is tapped 1/4-20 for the thumb screw and there is a spring between the angles.

I know that this is an old thread, but one suggestion on the vise stop would be to round off the area of the screw where it comes in contact with the material in the vise.

Other than that, I think I may be copying this design as a desperately need a vise stop.
