Title: Jacktown Show (Blue Mtn. Antique Gas & Steam Engine Assoc.) Bangor, Pa
Post by: 90LX_Notch on October 17, 2016, 03:22:09 PM
I went to the Jacktown show for the first time this weekend.  What a great show with a great venue and great people.  Admission and parking are free.  They have a train ride that costs one dollar.  There are an operating traction engine and steam roller that ride around the grounds.  There is a building with stationary steam engines on display and a huge Fairbanks and Morse diesel engine.  An operating sawmill, farm machinery and a tractor pulling event also are on the grounds as well as a flea market.

I was happy to find our hobby represented by some fellow modellers.

I will definetaly be attending their future events and highly recommend them to anyone in the area.

I didn't bring the camera, but here is a link to their website-
