Nice looking arbor Pete. Is the SHCS long enough to reach to the threaded hole which I assume is threaded into the mount end of the arbor? Could be just the picture but it looks short

Heh, yep the c'bore in the end is quite deep. That's the longest 3/8-24 SHCS I had!! There's about 5/8" engagement
with a 1/8" thick saw.

Thanks guys, I do appreciate the comments. The Benchmaster, with it's MT2 spindle, is sorta limited for tooling available. The head space is also fairly limited so a lot of off the shelf tooling is less than wonderful, and the 1/2"
max collet size won't handle 3" saws very well. So......

I make a bit of stuff but have never posted anything before.

That's a very nice design of arbor, Pete, the minimal depth below the cutter is a most useful feature. An attractive piece of tooling.  A pretty large pile of swarf after turning that, I should think, looks like it came from 1 1/2" bar...?
On my Myford S7, I have drilled and taper reamed a hole in the base of the swiveling top slide and through into the cross-slide, (having set up previously for turning a Morse taper of course! ) so that I can now set the taper angle for No 2 Morse just by tapping a taper pin into the two lined up holes.  Handy if you are making up an assortment of tooling for the mill, etc. over a period of time.  ( Though if you have a proper taper turning attachment......)

Nice one Pete and I also like the way you did it.  Which now reminds me that I have two 3MT blank arbors which I got for this purpose but never actually did them.

Another useful tool   Is the big 'foot' on the DTI a standard accessory?

The large 'button' is available I think, but I make my own as they are a really simple lathe job. I make them out of whatever material desired (I don't worry about hardening). The standard AGED indicators have a 4-48 female thread so that's easy. I just eyeball most dimensions to suit the need.

I  make 'em large, small, long, short, whatever. I think I made that one to span gear teeth....
