Title: Caliper Clock ..........

New issue of Better Homes & Garden's ," Wood" magazine had plans for this clock. Off to the wood shop, since I had to have one.  :)
Made some changes to the way it hangs on the wall and used wood I had on hand for the parts. Fun project and a change of pace making saw dust.
Overall length is 24" and the clock insert is 4 1/2" in diameter. Turned and knurled a piece of brass for the knob by the clock.
Just had to add some metal working to the project !   :cartwheel:

What a neat and unique project. You did a fine job on the brown stuff too!!  :D

A similar project was on Woodwrights Shop years ago, he made a wood chisel. From wood!

That's pretty cool Brian!
I have always liked the large Mitutoyo digital caliper clocks that you see pictures of from time to time.
