This one never got a boiler, I took it back to the UK for my Dads 90th birthday

Great design execution!
Lots to keep the eyes busy with all the small details and moving parts.

A great runner that i am sure your dad shows everyone!

Thanks Andrew

He does, it has pride of place next to his favorite chair at home. I wouldn't be surprised if it hasn't accompanied him to the pub at one time. Even at 90 he ensures makes his daily excursion for a pint.

Pete,

Those JP Duval plans really produce some nice compact and clean lined engines. I am a big fan of them.

You have done them proud with this one. :NotWorthy: :NotWorthy:

Thanks John

At the time I was making this you had said these models would be better suited in double scale. I mentioned your this to one of our club members who promptly went off and, in three weeks, made the Duval horizontal engine out of scrap box materials. Entered it into our annual club competition and won. Geoff Theasby read our club newsletter featured Murray's model in his column in ME.

So your comment echoed round the world.

regards

Pete
