Waiting to see price with stand, enclosure, and coolant.

Initially I was really excited but as I looked at the costs to get the machine tooled up the price is just too high. The ultimate number is getting into the territory of a used Haas or similar. I toyed with selling my Aciera F2 to help fund it but I really don't want to get rid of it. I may regret this going forward but I just couldn't justify it at this point. I am looking forward to see the machine and hear others experience.

Sounds like Vulcan Machine Co are trying to groom people into being the first paying customers, rather than genuine Beta testers. :ThumbsDown: :ThumbsDown:

I think they are making a good effort and will be a competitor to Tormach, it will take some time. Another thing for me is the travels are a bit small. Right now my main concentration is live steam locomotives.
