Hi All,
I have just started out on my model engineering journey and thought this forum would be a brilliant source of information and maybe even a place to record my progress.
I have been watching a lot of you tube videos and i have begun to build a 16mm dewinton steam tram. The plans are from a book called "Ellie" by Andrew Allison who seems to explains thing so even a newbie can understand. I have had some initial issues just turning down material such as lathe tools not correctly setup etc.. but i seem to be getting better.
I know a lot of people staring out have faced the same issues as myself and i have already found answers on this forum so hopefully as i learn i could help others overcome similar issues.
Thank you

Welcome to MEM,
The good thing is that you started something, that is often the most difficult thing :-) I was a neophyte as well, lots of assistance available.
