Hi just put a build thread on the Model Engineer site https://www.model-engineer.co.uk/forums/postings.asp?th=139679 (https://www.model-engineer.co.uk/forums/postings.asp?th=139679)
and was given a link to this site by a member who thought I might get more advice for my next build here.
Not an engineer by trade but always had an interest n metalwork so bought a Super Seven and Chester Mill .
Now every day is a learning day.

:hi:
The gypsy is not a beginners engine... have you made any models before?

Hi, my first build was a Congreve Clock , I don't have it running all the time but it does work.
I then bought plans for a 3 cyl PIP engine from Littlelocos which you can see from the link in my other
post.
Both those builds had comprehensive build notes supplied which helped greatly , the Gypsy is just
plans and i admitt i am already struggling a little working out some of the drawings.

Good to see you made it here from my directions.
There may not be a build thread but just ask about any items you are unsure of and someone should be able to help. Far better to ask when looking at the drawings than at a casting with more metal removed than should have been.
