I've been looking at designs for double-acting oscillating engines, particularly Argus and Tubal Cain's crane engine.
I'd have thought it would be a requirement of the geometry that the piston rod length was the same as the distance between crank and pivot centres, TC seems to assume this, but the Argus is definitely not.
Drawing error or me being slow?
