Looks well organized though John, and that mirror above the lathe makes it look twice as long too :)

Nice, I like it ! :)

I like it also. The brick is better than my wood frame shop.

Very functional. Everything looks to be within easy reach

Nice shop. How about some more pictures? :)
What is the boat in the lower left of the picture? It has nice lines.

Great shop, John!
Yes, a few more pictures would be wonderful. Like one looking the other direction? :)
Regardless, nice hideout there. Where do you store your raw material? And what other stuff do you have packed in there? We need details!

Hi. The boat is an International One Metre radio controlled yacht. I just finished it, but as it hasn't got an engine it doesn't qualify for inclusion on here! However:

This is what we Brits call a 'Man Cave'. just beyond the artificial grass! The pottery is in the foreground under the Wisteria.

There's an Emco maximat V10P lathe/mill, Proxxon BF40 6000rpm mill/drill, three way bender/roller/shear, 2ft sq. surface table, belt linisher, pillar drill, bench grinder, arc welding gear, 6kg gas bottle and lots of vermiculite slabs stored under the lathe. Raw material is in drawers scattered around the shop and on racks on the wall. 50 year's worth of bits and pieces... :old: For creature comforts there is a portable Bose Sound Dock, Digital Radio, and if it gets too hot (rare here) there is a small A/C unit.

Oh, and I built a similar sized pottery next door for my good lady!

Nice
Chock full of fun and well organized.

Very nice to see your workshop and models John, you have a lot of good stuff packed into the available space, very much in the traditional mould of compact but enjoyable British model engineers workshops! ( Mine is about the same size...! ) Dave
-
Hi Dave
Even nicer to see 'mould' correctly spelt! :praise2: I spent some eight weeks consulting to the car industry in North America and it took a couple of sessions before we all understood each other!
No offence meant: I had a great time, especially when I was driving my client's Cadillac Seville!

Lovely shop John, Just a bit smaller than mine but much better organised. I assume the loco in the pottery is metal not "pot"
Best Wishes Terry

I just saw the rest of the pictures John. Very nice indeed. I am envious even of the space you have!!

Actually John............... it fits right in on this forum. It runs on wind power..............just like the rest of the forum! :lolb:
Jim
PS: Thanks for more pictures of your shop and yard. I like it.

You'll need to get it up on foils to keep up with the modern trend in yatching :lolb:
