Very Nice! Can it be run from a standard household supply?
-
It does run on household supply but needs a 15amp socket and so the wiring and fuses need to be up to it as well. :zap:
-
Very very nice, I am now having a bout of tool envy :censored:
I hope you have a friendly gas supplier. :)
Best Regards

That is a nice welder, I have a 200 amp Miller Tig welder invertor type and very lite. The gas runs me $8 a month rental.

unfortunatly the gas price isn't the big problem here it is the bottle rental. Was costing me $130 a year for a 'D' bottle.

Pete,
That's why I asked the question, BOC are on a real winner in Oz. I wonder what the Trade Practices Commission is for sometimes.

Lucky for me I hve my own bottle ;) so only pay for refills. >:D

I tried to buy a bottle but no one would sell them. I have my own oxygen bottle and CO2 bottle though. One thing about having your own, I will give you a for instance. It was five yrs before I filled my oxygen bottle. That's is how much I use it. So it pays to own one.

Yay melted some aluminium today. :)
This is 2mm thick pieces.
A little more practice and more playing with the settings should get better.

That's not a bad start, bit more practice and as you say a fiddle with settings and you'll be there.
