I used to spend a little of my time restoring engines for people, ones that were old and worn out, or made and they couldn't get them to run, in which case, I usually fixed them up like new.

Here's the first Stuart engine, an S50, that I bought off eBay in poor condition, and stripped and painted. Before:

This was before I had a lathe, so I didn't do any machining of parts for this one. It runs pretty well, at least until you tighten the bolts holding the cylinder to the base  ;D
