Title: Stuart no 4 and no 7 dimension help please.
Post by: Gas_mantle on April 05, 2018, 02:15:51 PM
Hi,

I bought a fabricated standard/trunk guide yesterday at my local club auction night, it only cost £1.40 so I thought at that price it's worth it. Originally I assumed it to be a Stuart 7 copy but now it seems too big so I'm wondering is it the size of a Stuart 4?

I'm about to start building a 10v replica from barstock shortly (using the casting in the pic) and thought if larger standard is to a Stuart size then it may be worth buying a set of plans and making both engines together.

Has anyone got a no 4 or 7 they could measure please ?

Cheers  :)

Cheers Mike, that's a bit of a bonus I can make a bigger engine than I expected  :)
