I am new here from north central Florida. Been reading the forum for over a year now and decided to jump in. I had an old Atlas lathe for about 15 years. Made bushings and lightened components on a drag race motorcycle. I now own a new PM1022 lathe and a 727 V milling machine. I made a couple of finger engines and air engines just to get the "hang of things". I have now started on an Upshur verical. With the help from Youtube and tinker johns videos I am hoping for sucess. Still, as with the other builds its a game of doing it over till its right and pleasing to the eye. I am retiried and at 70 i feel as if i have the time and patience. I built and drag raced motorcycles till i was 60 then got into shooting and fixing air rifles and pistols. I would make new seals etc. and try to increase velocity. However these tiny engines are quite a challenge especially reading and understanding prints and drawings. I may not have alot to offer just yet so pardon me for taking more than I put in.
