Yes I looked at those as well and I don't know who told them they were worth that much

I've been offered more than that for my Lightweight and it isn't even a real Stuart one

I would be charging a lot more than that if someone commissioned my to make it, you would not get much for £400 labour.

A Kiwi normally sells for half what they are asking and the prices are dropping year on year but as you say there are fools who have more money than sense

Don't need to go out to find them as they come looking for me, only last week I got an e-mail saying someone was interested in one of my engines, it's amazing what a nicely painted up and running engine will do to people!

And only yesterday had someone wanting to commission me to do some additional work towards an engine.

Looks like a very nice example, in very good condition - though to me, it looks like the Valve Rockers and the Spark Plug is brand new.

I would never pay that much for that engine - period - but I wish I had got the Swedish 20cc four stroke flat twin (made around 1980) that inspired OS to make four stroke model engines, that was sold on eBay.de for around €300 a few years ago.

Jo Have you seen those Tidman castings on there at the moment, would fill your little chaps empty boxes Not sure how cost compared with Adrian.

The Tidman castings are about twice the going rate as well
