I've been offered more than that for my Lightweight and it isn't even a real Stuart one ;D

I would be charging a lot more than that if someone commissioned my to make it, you would not get much for £400 labour.

A Kiwi normally sells for half what they are asking and the prices are dropping year on year but as you say there are fools who have more money than sense  :-X

Don't need to go out to find them as they come looking for me, only last week I got an e-mail saying someone was interested in one of my engines, it's amazing what a nicely painted up and running engine will do to people!

And only yesterday had someone wanting to commission me to do some additional work towards an engine.

Looks like a very nice example, in very good condition - though to me, it looks like the Valve Rockers and the Spark Plug is brand new.

I would never pay that much for that engine - period - but I wish I had got the Swedish 20cc four stroke flat twin (made around 1980) that inspired OS to make four stroke model engines, that was sold on eBay.de for around €300 a few years ago.
