G Day From Bundaberg Australia.
« on: May 26, 2020, 12:32:18 AM »
Hello,
My real name is Lance and I stumbled to this site from a link in HMEM.
I started a Fairbanks Model Z casting kit quite a while back now but I think I will have to retire to find time to finish it.
I have a small HM48 mill and just updated my small lathe to a Hafco AL960B the Taiwanese model and a Taiwanese drill press as the old ones were getting tired.
Im a diesel fitter by trade and have a Youtube channel called Bundy Bears Shed where I film how to videos for tractor repairs and machining related stuff.
Im an ok machinist and enjoy the fiddle of smaller parts.
I own Queensland Tractor Spares and thats how I earn my living.
So G Day

Lance.

Hi Lance,

Welcome to the forum, good to have another Aussie on board.

I will have to remember the business name and call in if we are ever allowed to travel north again, but I can understand why journalists preview does not want any southern visitors.  I guessing after it’s too late for Schoolies, but it a difficult decision, I don’t envy those making the call.

I hope you are managing well during the lockdown.

Welcome Lance,  Great to see you here.   A couple of years ago I used one of your excellent videos to guide me through the process resealing a CAV Diesel Injection pump for one of my old tractors. Very grateful to you for sharing your extensive knowledge, your YouTube channel is very informative and amusing!  Nick

Best regards

Roger
