Better than the usual 'wind' blowing out the shop...   :o

Looks like a great machine. Whats the first project for it?

Probably an machine enclosure, and a shelf/bracket to hang an air compressor on the wall or some such.      The shop is about to be flipped over.......again......

The Clausing will be looking for a home, you can bet on that!......

If anyone is in my area  ( Central Massachusetts) and is interested in a Clausing 8520 mill well with factory riser, tooled up and complete with DRO, strap set, ER collet chuck and collets, new Glycern vise and  rotary table... let me know in a PM.

It's in need of a new home.....

Dave

Hope you beat them down due to that oil run on the front of the base, otherwise it looks in good condition

And it runs LinuxCNC in the form of Pathpilot.

LinuxCNC is a nice, highly reliable control system. The BEST one, in my book.

Dave:

Looks nice. I assume this is the one you selected for your day job some time ago. Might I ask why it didn't work out for them?

Seems to have worked out very well though. Awsome.

Thanks.
Hugh

They say every cloud has a silver lining, in this case the silver lining was in your favour.

Looks very nice, I'm sure you will have fun with it.

Can't beat new toys.
