Yes not being previously registered for any of the usual delivery services we would probably have starved by the now if waiting to get registered and then waiting a month for an available delivery slot.

Managing to go 8-9 days between food shops and apart from walking the dog that's the only times I've been going out.

6 weeks since I have been to the shops. The only problem with home deliveries is there is a minimum order value so it forces me to buy more  to spend up to it

Did actually get Fish & chips last night, not quite like it used to be. Ordered by the phone in the afternoon, take correct money in ziploc plastic bag, one person allowed in shop at a time, put money through small hole in the new perspex screen, order placed at far end of counter and wait for shop assistant to move away before picking it up and going home to eat having washed hands well as soon as I got back and removed it from plastic bag.

He's still getting his snickers Ice creams but there is a limit to the space in the freezer


Now that he is happy his orders come through every time he doesn't feel the need to order the maximum limit he can have every time. At one point he was worried that people might move onto them after toilet paper but it seems it was pasta and tinned tomatoes
