My grandfather used to say cheer up things could be worse, so I cheered up and things got worse

I'm a mechanic for a tool hire company in the day and a part time stand up comic in the evening and on a Friday and Saturday night go out to gigs etc.

As the world is shut down and nowhere to perform I thought I would put afew of my thoughts on lockdown on YouTube.
If anybody wants a chuckle for a couple of minutes have a look at my 2 videos, just look under johnnie gitts in lockdown,  that's my stage name

I thought we all need a bit of cheering up, especially Zee

Try this for size   https://www.whitman.edu/academics/academic-resource-center/online-learning-support/academic-calendar/commencement/commencement-history/commencement-2013/eric-idle-sings

It will be over one day

It seems far more appropriate for the present when sung in its original cheery setting...

I looked at clouds from both sides now …

[The optimist:]  "Every cloud has a silver lining"

[The pessimist:] "Every silver lining …"

Just saw a commercial from Cottonelle, the toilet paper folks. Um, I think they
didn't get it reviewed before sending it to the TV stations....

It was talking about supporting all those in need lately (good so far), but then
the tag line was "Share A Square"....

If someone needs TP, they are going to need more than a single square - how about
sharing a roll? And, 'share'? You really want them to return it?!?!?!     :o
