Great article Doc.  :)

Have you reach the point yet of wondering how you ever had time to work?

Can't have enough of this retirement lark

Time for WORK  :o I don't have time enough for everything I want to do, let alone all those things I would like to do (work is not one of either of these  :hellno:)

P.S. I'm 19 months retired... another 14 years to wait get my state pension  :embarassed:

If I can live to 88 (I'll be 79 this June) I will have been retired as long as I worked, 33 years.  Both my SILs tell me that would be a great goal but is probably an impossibility for them or their children.  I tell them that that confirms my theory that the quality of life decreases monotonically.

Past 7 years of retirement here, loving the time to 'work' on my own projects rather than someone elses! Great writeup and engine!

Hello
I have enjoyed retirement for 23 years, haven't missed work one iota!
Thanks to final salary pension scheme i joined at age of 16 i estimate that i have taken more in pension than i earned in salary. No wonder why such schemes are being dropped like hop coals!

Eighteen years, this June for me. Loved every minute of it so far. Don't see that changing.

Of course .........I'm willing to bet that, given the makeup of the folks on this forum, nobody here really "retires"............. we just change jobs.........to a much lower paying and much more fun job!  :)
