As promised a photo of the parts for Gypsy that I have assembled over the years.
I am going to start on the crank as this part and also the cam are the two parts that I am most concerned about. I will try and post a photo but it may be awhile
If I cant cope with the crank and cam at least I will be able to pass the untouched castings on.

 They look like an original Les Chenery set of castings. They will be nicely aged  :)

I am currently doing the same engine,  crankshaft was quite challenging especially
getting a nice finish on the bearings. Camshaft was surprisingly fairly straightforward.
Looking forward to see how you get on with this.

Its good to hear from someone who has been there.
I have been studying the crank drawing and seem to have found a couple of errors already.
I have also found errors on the parts list, missing part drawings, missing important dimensions and dimensional  errors.
I am keeping a record of what I discover on the drawings and will publish after build.
The more I look the more I find.
